firefox 2??? i have a firefox browser which i don't know what version it is. is firefox 2 recently lauched?? i downloaded this firefox (unknown version) last year 20th of dec am i using the firefox 2.0?? what version am i using?

I downloaded firefox 2. What are the main differences between it and earlier versions? I already noticed a few changes but I want to know what other differences and improvements there are between firefox 2 and earlier versions and the reasons why it's supposed to be better.

If you go to www.motogp.com and click the videos tab on the left, it brings up a bunch of videos...When you click on a video it gives you the option to play the video clip with Windows Media player or Real Player. How do i change the behavior of the firefox 2.0+ location bar to stop escaping spaces into +'s? In firefox 1.5 and lower, any non url passed to the location bar is appended directly to the end of the url specificed in keyword.url in the config. new behavior in firefox turns every space into a +. because i change my keyword.url to wikipedia, any time i type in more than one word wikipedia returns a not found error because firefox has introduced +'s i did not type instead of passing the spaces directly to wikipedia, which would normal exscape the spaces to underscores. Is there any way to change this behavior?
