I downloaded firefox 2. What are the main differences between it and earlier versions?

I already noticed a few changes but I want to know what other differences and improvements there are between firefox 2 and earlier versions and the reasons why it's supposed to be better.

1. this firefox can jump higher and can run longer distances
2. Not much, frankly. It has a spelling checker attached, but thats horrible. It even shows 'spyware' as an error!
