How do you download more than 2 files from Firefox?

A couple months or weeks ago I was able to download more than 2 files at a time. But now, I've noticed that my simultaneous downloading only limits me to download 2 files at a time. Is there any settings I can change to allow more than 2 downloads at a time? Or maybe add-ons that I can install to Firefox that'll allow it?

2. type about:config into the address bar. THen search for 'network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server' and change that value to what ever you like. I'd recommend about 10. This won't fix it for every server you might download from. This isn't that new of a trick and some admins are implementing the limit server side. For IE there is a registry hack which I'm sure you can find on Google.
