How does one use a flash player in Firefox 2?

I have been trying to view a flash player object, and I have already updated my system for it...It still doesn't play...How do I enable the flash player? 10 points if you can work it for me...

2. Firefox has a plugins folder where you should be able to find Flash dll file in there. If not, download and install the Flash plug-in.
3. Just visit the Flash Download site: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW That should be what you need.
4. You can also use this Flash Switcher program, which uninstalls and reinstalls different version of the Flash Player on-the-fly: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3649/ It's pretty nifty, and you will -know- which version is running and working.
