How do you copy and paste a URL from an email to the internet browser?

I am required to copy and paste a url from an email message into my internet browser to allow registration of the Ashampoo program. I get as far as highlighting the url and clicking on copy in the view window. I then open up my browser but am lost when it comes to finding the paste button to enter it into the address block.
