Why does my internet browser keep shutting down when I open it?
I use the Mozilla Firefox browser. Lately when I open the internet browser it just shuts back down and I don't know why. I have AVG and a Naomi content filter, could either of these be the problem?

- I would uninstall Firefox and install it again. There could be a corrupt file associated with your Firefox browser right now. Good luck.
- yah! im using it too. it just does. sometimes my comp goes black or randomly shuts offf. if it happens constantly ask a tech. geek
- Try removing or resetting the homepage, and default any advanced settings. Hope this helps...
- best thig to do would be re-download it and re-install it. FireFox probably got corrupted somehow
- your computer is broken just get a new on (an apple laptop)
- Sounds like a trojan or malware. See if there's an update for the browser you're using as well.
- I'm not an expert, but something may be wrong with your computer. If I were you, I'd take this one to a professional. You MIGHT have a virus. But if your internet browser shuts down when you open it, how did you write this question?
- just unistall firefox and install it i another director d or e then it will work i promise u
- here are some options: 1. first thing you can try would be to simply, restart your computer.. a lot of times the processes in the background get messed up... this thing happened to me where firefox refused to open.. i simply restarted my computer and it worked... 2. you can try to uninstall and re-install firefox. that may fix some possible corrupt files, etc. 3. if you really think it's a virus. have it checked with house call.. just go to google.com and search for house call it's the first link. to a complete scan checking for malware, grayware, and viruses.. (more if you want) 4. if none of those help, go to download.com and find glaryutilities, it's a neat program that pretty much cleans out your computer so it will speed up the performance.. and it will also help it run smoother. good luck!
