On another computer, I accidentally deleted all the web browsers. How can I reinstall one without a browser?
I'm on a different computer in the house right now, but on my computer I accidentally deleted all my web browsers. How can I get a web browser back on there without an actual web browser. Is it possible?

- Try going to Start>Run, and then enter a web address, making sure you add http:// in front. For example, Start>Run... http://www.firefox.com
- You have to go one a computer with a web browser go to the download site whith the download broser that you want. When you press download the first thing it will say is run or save. Hit save and save to a flash drive. These are the instalation files and not the program itself. Take the flashdrive with the instalation files and put it into the other computer open the installation files and install
- I answer your question with another question. How did you ask this question without a browser? If you have internet access elsewhere, take a USB key and download a browser. Put it on the USB key and install it on the computer that has no browser.
- You sure you deleted them or just removed the shortcuts? Try doing a search for iexplore.exe or look under c:\program Files\internet Explorer\ For Firefox search for firefox.exe C:\program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ If you find either one then right click and click on create shortcut and place the shortcut on your desktop. Other wise you'll need to download firefox for IE to your working system and transfer the file by using flash drive or burn the files to cd.
- It depends on if you uninstalled the browsers or just deleted them. Try searching for them first. Start> (depending on which os you have) Find or Search>Make sure you search in all files and folders> Search for Internet Explorer. If that dosen't work try windows update (im assuming you have windows) That may restore it. If you uninstalled them then i dont know that to tell ya. Hope this helps
- Deleting an entire program is tough. Did you delete everything or just the icons off your desk top? You can probably still find the web browser on your C drive. Do a "find" of the web browser's name. You could download a browser onto the "other" machine and transfer the folder to the computer you goffed up by a jump drive or CD. If you have a Mac you can use that "time machine" (I think it's called) to revert your computer to yesterday.
- You probably still have Internet explorer installed (you might have deleted the shortcut). Go Start... Run... iexplore and it should open. If it's still there then you can make a new shortcut - right-click the desktop and pick 'new shortcut'. Click the 'browse' button and go to c:\program files\internet explorer. Once you have it back you can at east get on the internet and download firefox or any of the others if you want.
- Start>Control Panel>Add Remove Programs>ADD Remove Components> Click to place a check under "Internet Explorer". It may ask you for the install CD or it may not - it depends on if the setup files were left on - default is to leave them on. If you have neither - goto the PC you are using to send this note and goto www.mozilla.com. Download the file - copy to flash drive or cd and execute the file from the affected machine. Welcome back to the WWW on your box.
