Why won't the new Yahoo home page, work good with Firefox 2.0?

The news picture goes out after a couple of minutes, and it won't let me add to "my favorites". I have tried the new firefox and don't like it. I want to keep the 2.0 version. Is there a way to fix the new home page?

1. Firefox is currently at 3,5. New features are constantly updated such as Javascript Ajax. It may just be that you will be required to upgrade. Firefox will be at version 3,6 soon. One thing you can try is to go to page options on the home page and make it compact view. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪
